Android TV will support Google Stadia from 2020

Interesting news on Google Stadia: it seems that the research giant, during the recent International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam, has confirmed that Android TV will support the gaming platform arriving in November.

According to the leak of an anonymous user, who would have immortalized the entire Android roadmap until 2021, the BigG gaming system will be supported starting with the 11 R version of the operating system, which is expected to be launched in 2020. Support for Google Stadia is not the only detail that emerged thanks to the leak, of course: among the most attractive innovations there is a general improvement of the system, a refresh of the Play Store and a greater attention to digital assistants. What's more, a clue would also seem to reveal the possible arrival of a Pixel TV in the future. Not all that glitters is gold, however. Negative aspects are also brought to light, such as the arrival of advertising during streaming and in the home. It is impossible to tell at the moment how much the ads will affect the user experience, but it is normal for them to turn up their noses regardless. read more
