Windows 10 updates as part of the August Patch Tuesday are ready for download

Monthly patches available.

Every second Tuesday of the month is the day Microsoft releases update packages for Windows 10. Patches as part of Patch Tuesday should be available on all computers with Windows 10 in 1903, 1803, 1709, 1703, 1607 and 1507.

What’s new in the KB4512508 update for the latest build? For computers with Windows May 2019 Update, mainly changes related to security patches – they are invisible to users.

Improved security within Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Wireless Networking, Windows Cryptography, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Virtualization, Windows Storage and Filesystems, the Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows Linux, Windows Kernel, Windows Server, Windows MSXML, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.

Download missing dlls

Unfortunately, Microsoft has still not removed the bug that causes the error “ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (0x80070002)” and blocking the launch of the Windows Sandbox application on computers that have changed language during the system upgrade to Windows 10 1903. The patch is on the way.

If the OS Build 18362.295 August 13 update was not downloaded automatically from you, go to the Windows Update section of your system and search for updates manually.
